Spinach Pineapple Power Smoothie
Recipe by Kara (@Healthy_Italian). I made a few changes to make enough for a liter mason jar. The lemon is really strong in this so I think next time I’ll use half a lemon and another chunk of pineapple. I also added almond milk which wasn’t in her original recipe along with chia seeds.
Day 4 of my smoothie cleanse. So far so good.
Makes one 1L serving.
2 cups of Baby Spinach
1/2 scoop of RVL Nutrition Shake - Vanilla Cream
1/4 of a frozen Pineapple
2 Gala Apples, seeded
1 Lemon, rind removed
1 cup Silk Vanilla Almond Milk
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
You’re probably going to want to use a Vitamix for this. Add all ingredients in the correct order: liquids, powders, seeds then fresh fruits/veggies, and lastly, frozen fruits/veggies and ice. Start at variable 1, move up to 10 then flip on high for 30 seconds. Pour and enjoy! :)
